Mess-Free Rainbow Craft

Mess-free craft activity?  Yes, please.

Check out the super easy activity courtesy of MessyLittleMonster.com

1.     Take a small blank piece of cardstock, or a card, and squeeze some colored paint along one edge.  Then, place the cardstock/card into a Ziploc baggy.  This means, whatever you’re using will have to be a touch smaller than the baggy so it fits.

2.     Zip the baggy up realllll good and hand that baby over to your toddler.  Let them play around with the blobs of paint inside the baggy to see what happens when they push the paint around in the plastic. This is a great time to talk to your toddler about colors, and what happens when they mix!

3.     Next, when everyone is satisfied with how the paint looks remove the paper from the baggy and leave it to dry.

4.     When the paint is dry, use markers to write a message or draw a picture over the paint.   Depending on which direction you’re taking things in this could be a card, a picture to hang on the refrigerator or even a keepsake you frame with popsicle sticks.
